I used the online shopping a few times but I stopped using it when the delivery did not arrive on a Friday night. I phoned them and they said they would come back which did not happen. So I phone them again one hour later and they said the driver did not turn up so the delivery had been cancelled. And that was it. I thought it was very unprofessional that they did not notify it to the customer in the first place and did not make apologies or show goodwill gestures.  
 
As for their product I think they have a decent range and their Taste The Difference brand and organic brand are a very good value for money. I also liked the self checkout service they started recently.

We used to shop in person but time does not allow this pleasure(?) anymore. We now have our groceries delivered and with the odd exception our orders have been 100% correct. The delivery drivers are all friendly and take care with the products and for most orders our delivery comes free. We save so much time having our food delivered. We just need to eliminate the plastic bags and we can feel a bit greener too!

I love Sainsburys. Slightly more expensive than the others but much less chavvy I find. A more relaxing shopping experience.
