Products marked available for Collect @ Store on our website can be selected for collection from a local PC World store. As the web exclusive prices apply to both online orders and Collect @ Store orders – items can be picked up at a cheaper price in stores, than the usual store price (provided the Collect @ Store print out/or reference number is brought in store).

I purchased a notebook online and chose the option to collect it from the store. Their price was unbeatable and I am happy with the product. Later I contacted the customer service centre as I wanted to know how to recharge the battery. I was soon connected to one of the customer service representatives and he was very helpful and friendly.

Wouldn't touch them with a bargepole. After sales service is horrendous. If your PC breaks down they won't want to know!

i have used pc world a few times, but they do seem keen on the fact that as long as your spending loads of money they dont really care after that. i payed 700 pounds on a pc combo set and a few months later something would not work on it and all they could say is that it's out of date and we recommend you buy a new more up to date pc. Mad!

Only my personal opinion and everyone has had bad experiences but I've had two with PC World so I refuse to shop with them again. Prices are reasonable though so if it's something you're buying that doesn't need a warranty then go for it.
